At Al Hilal Boutique, we are two sisters with a shared dream of spreading the love of modest fashion. Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable, and beautiful abayas that empower women to express their style while maintaining their values.
History of Abayas
"Abaya: a loose fitting garment worn to preserve self expression of identity by protecting modesty." It originated in the Arabian Peninsula and has long been a part of traditional women's attire in the region. The Abaya, also known as kaftan, djellaba, gallabiyah, and umaniyah, has undergone numerous modifications throughout history.
